Three arrested on drug and weapons charges in Allegany

ALLEGANY, NY — Three Buffalo residents were arrested following a traffic stop on March 13, 2026.

Daquan J. Shaw, 25, of Buffalo, was taken into custody at 10:03 p.m.

Robin M. Hadley, 23, of Buffalo, was taken into custody at 10:09 p.m.

Darryl D. Mitchell, 41, of Buffalo, was taken into custody at 10:12 p.m.

All three were occupants of a vehicle that was the subject of an erratic operator complaint, according to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies located the vehicle and observed multiple vehicle and traffic law infractions and initiated a traffic stop.

Following an investigation during the traffic stop, K9 Cash was deployed for a vehicle sniff.

K9 Cash indicated on the passenger side of the vehicle.

During a subsequent vehicle search, deputies located a loaded .22 caliber revolver, a .45 caliber ACP semiautomatic handgun with a loaded magazine next to it, a switchblade knife, a quantity of suspected fentanyl, a quantity of suspected crack cocaine, packaging material, and a scale with white residue.

Hadley was charged with criminal possession of a weapon 2nd degree, criminal possession of a weapon 4th degree, criminal possession of a controlled substance 3rd degree, criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th degree, criminally using drug paraphernalia 2nd degree for packaging material, and criminally using drug paraphernalia 2nd degree for scales.

Shaw was charged with criminal possession of a weapon 3rd degree, move from lane unsafely, and no distinctive plate/covered by glass.

Mitchell was charged with criminal possession of a weapon 2nd degree and no seatbelt.

All three were transported to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office for processing.

Hadley, Shaw, and Mitchell were arraigned in the Town of Allegany Court and remanded to the Cattaraugus County Jail.
