Man arrested on domestic charges in Jamestown

JAMESTOWN, NY — A man was arrested March 13, 2026, after police responded to a domestic dispute on the city’s south side.

Officers from the Jamestown Police Department’s First Platoon were called to the scene at approximately 10:33 a.m.

Following an investigation, officers determined that Pedro J. Cruz, 43, of Jamestown, violated a duly issued Order of Protection by harassing the protected party while a child was in close proximity.

Cruz was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Jamestown City Jail.

Cruz has been charged with two counts of Criminal Contempt in the First Degree, Endangering the Welfare of a Child, and Harassment in the Second Degree.

He was held pending arraignment.
