HARTFORD, CT — A West Hartford woman was arrested Friday after police located a stolen vehicle she was allegedly operating in the city.
Hartford Police received a be-on-the-lookout alert at approximately 4:50 p.m. on March 13, 2026, for a 2015 Hyundai Sonata reported stolen from East Hartford.
The vehicle was equipped with tracking capabilities and was reported to be operating within Hartford city limits.
Officers responded to the last reported location and observed the occupied stolen vehicle parked near 85 Kent Street.
Officers, with assistance from a K-9 unit, converged on the vehicle and took the operator into custody without incident.
Milla Sesay, 27, of West Hartford, was transported to the Hartford Police Department Booking Facility, where she was processed and charged with larceny in the third degree, theft of a motor vehicle and operating a motor vehicle without owner’s permission.
The 2015 Hyundai Sonata was recovered and returned.
