WILTON, NY — The Sheriff’s Office responded to an active burglary call Thursday at 12:16 p.m. on Heritage Way.
Investigation into the matter led to the arrest of Samuel J. Fitzgerald, 31, of Wilton, for burglary in the second degree, a class C felony.
Fitzgerald is accused of knowingly entering and remaining unlawfully within a dwelling with intent to commit a crime therein.
He was arraigned before the Honorable Chad Jerome in the Wilton Town Court and released to pretrial services pending further proceedings in that court.
