TOWN OF ULSTER, NY — Police arrested 10 people on various charges between Feb. 21 and March 1, according to the Ulster Police Department.
Cheryl P. Berryann, 55, of Shandaken, was arrested on Feb. 21 after a police investigation revealed that she intentionally stole over $50 worth of merchandise from Walmart.
She was charged with petit larceny and released on an appearance ticket to appear in the Town of Ulster Court at a later date to answer the charges.
Michael A. Edwards, 50, of Ellenville, was arrested on Feb. 23 after a police investigation revealed that he acted with another to steal over $1,000 worth of merchandise from Lowe’s.
He was charged with grand larceny in the fourth degree and conspiracy in the fifth degree.
He was held at the Ulster County Jail awaiting arraignment in Ulster County CAP Court.
Devin J. Rumeau, 31, of Kingston, was arrested on Feb. 24 after a police investigation revealed that he intentionally stole over $190 worth of merchandise from Auto Zone.
Upon arrival of patrols, Rumeau had left the scene but was located a short time later and taken into custody.
Upon being taken into custody, Rumeau was also found to have an active arrest warrant out of the Town of Ulster Court for petit larceny.
He was arraigned before Town of Ulster Town Justice Kelly Flood-Myers on the charge of petit larceny, as well as the active arrest warrant.
He was remanded to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail, $20,000 secured bond, or $60,000 partially secured bond to reappear at a later date to answer the charges.
Christian Santiago, 51, of Port Ewen, was arrested on Feb. 25 on an active arrest warrant out of the Town of Ulster Court for petit larceny after being stopped by the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office.
He was turned over to Ulster Police Department and arraigned before Town of Ulster Town Justice Susan Kesick and released to reappear at a later date to answer the charges.
Dakwanti S. Dixon, 32, homeless, was arrested on Feb. 26 after a police investigation revealed that he intentionally stole over $8 worth of merchandise from Quick Chek.
He was charged with petit larceny and released on an appearance ticket to appear in the Town of Ulster Court at a later date to answer the charges.
Andre A. Delanoy, 22, of Lake Katrine, was arrested on Feb. 26 after a police investigation revealed that he recklessly caused damage to a parked motor vehicle while operating a UTV with a suspended driver’s license.
He was charged with criminal mischief in the fourth degree, aggravated unlicensed operation in the second degree and traffic infractions.
He was released on an appearance ticket to appear in the Town of Ulster Court at a later date to answer the charges.
Tara M. Kovacs, 36, of Highland, was arrested on Feb. 27 after a police investigation revealed she intentionally stole over $200 worth of merchandise from Walmart.
She was charged with petit larceny and released on an appearance ticket to appear in the Town of Ulster Court at a later date to answer the charges.
Cassie M. Couse, 26, of Red Hook, was arrested on Feb. 27 after a police investigation revealed that she intentionally stole over $20 worth of merchandise from Target.
She was charged with petit larceny and released on an appearance ticket to appear in the Town of Ulster Court at a later date to answer the charges.
Osmin D. Torres, 24, of Oceanside, was arrested on Feb. 28 after a police investigation revealed that he intentionally stole over $50 worth of merchandise from Walmart.
He was charged with petit larceny and released on an appearance ticket to appear in the Town of Ulster Court at a later date to answer the charges.
Parrish A. Leitos Jr., 38, of Kingston, was arrested on March 1 on an active bench warrant out of the Town of Ulster Court for a sex offender registry violation after being stopped by the City of Poughkeepsie Police Department.
He was turned over to Ulster Police Department and arraigned before Ulster County CAP Court.
