JAMESTOWN, NY — A woman was arrested early Monday morning after police say they found cocaine packaged for sale during a traffic stop.
Officers observed a vehicle commit a traffic violation at the intersection of Charles Street and Superior Street at approximately 3:29 a.m. March 2, 2026.
Police stopped the vehicle and identified the driver as Saron W. Leeper, 54, of Jamestown.
During the investigation, officers recovered a quantity of cocaine that was individually packaged and consistent with intent to sell, according to police.
Leeper was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Jamestown City Jail.
She has been charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree.
Leeper is being held pending arraignment.
