PENN HILLS, PA — Three men have been charged in connection with a December homicide that left a 21-year-old man dead.
County 9-1-1 was notified of a shooting in the 200 block of Universal Road at 11:49 p.m. on Dec. 5.
First responders found an adult male victim suffering from gunshot wounds.
The victim was identified as Vanderlee Stevenson, 21.
Stevenson was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
The Allegheny County Police Department’s Homicide Unit initiated an investigation.
A few hours after the shooting, detectives were notified of an adult male who arrived at an area hospital suffering from a gunshot wound to the hand.
The male was identified as Trevor Twyman, 23.
Based on witness interviews, surveillance videos and additional information collected throughout the investigation, detectives determined Twyman, 24-year-old Kelshon Lovelace and 18-year-old Lemoyne Williams were responsible for the shooting.
All three men are facing multiple charges including criminal homicide, criminal conspiracy and carrying a firearm without a license.
Lovelace and Twyman are currently incarcerated on unrelated charges.
Williams was taken into custody on Feb. 26 and transported to the Allegheny County Jail pending preliminary arraignment.
