Broome County Sheriff’s Office reports 15 arrests

BINGHAMTON, NY — The Broome County Sheriff’s Office has reported 15 arrests on various charges ranging from felonies to misdemeanors.

Mahmoud Y. Al-Mashni, 42, of Binghamton, was charged with two counts of tampering with physical evidence, class E felonies, and two counts of promoting prison contraband in the second degree, class A misdemeanors, following multiple contraband investigations in the Broome County Correctional Facility.

Dakota T. Beansley-Correll, 28, of Johnson City, was charged with driving while intoxicated and operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content above .08, misdemeanors, following a traffic stop in the Village of Johnson City.

Eli S. Clark, 39, of the Town of Chenango, was charged with criminal contempt in the second degree, a class A misdemeanor, and harassment in the second degree, a violation, following an investigation into a dispute in the Town of Chenango.

Adrian Colon, 48, of the Town of Kirkwood, was charged with rape in the second degree, a class D felony, following a statutory rape investigation in the Town of Kirkwood.

Stephen K. Cornwell, III, 29, of Binghamton, was charged with unlawful imprisonment in the first degree, a class E felony, following an investigation into a physical altercation in the Broome County Correctional Facility.

Michell D. Furgeson, 45, was charged with grand larceny in the third degree, a class D felony, following an investigation into a stolen vehicle in the Town of Barker.

Nixon J. Garcias, 30, of Brooklyn, was charged with driving while intoxicated and aggravated DWI, misdemeanors, along with multiple traffic violations, following a traffic stop in the City of Binghamton.

Jason L. Johnson, 35, of the Town of Chenango, was charged with driving while intoxicated and operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content above .08, misdemeanors, along with multiple traffic violations, following a DWI investigation in the Town of Chenango.

Michael G. Jones, 45, of Binghamton, was charged with assault in the second degree, a class D felony, following an investigation into a physical altercation in the Broome County Correctional Facility.

Jonathan P. Kytle, 39, of Binghamton, was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, a class A misdemeanor, following a traffic stop in the City of Binghamton.

Daryl J. Labour, 39, of Nichols, was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, a class A misdemeanor, along with multiple traffic violations, following a traffic stop in the Town of Dickinson.

Allan J. MacDonald, II, 35, of the Town of Dickinson, was charged with criminal contempt in the first degree, a class E felony, following an investigation into an order of protection violation in the Town of Dickinson.

Salih R. Shabazz, 44, of Binghamton, was charged with assault on a police officer, a class C felony, resisting arrest, a class A misdemeanor, and obstruction of governmental administration in the second degree, a class A misdemeanor, following a warrant execution in the Village of Endicott.

Justin J. Smith, 40, of Owego, was charged with three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, class A misdemeanors, following a traffic stop in the Town of Fenton.

Heather M. Stroup, 34, of Binghamton, was charged with petit larceny, a class A misdemeanor, following a larceny investigation in the Town of Chenango.
