Man arrested on warrant in Nazareth

NAZARETH, PA — A man was arrested early Saturday morning after police discovered he had an outstanding warrant during a traffic stop.

Nazareth Police were patrolling the Easton Road area at 3:31 a.m. when they observed a vehicle with an expired Pennsylvania registration.

Officers initiated a traffic stop in the 400 block of South Main Street.

During the investigation, police discovered that the front seat passenger, Edward Diaz, 25, of Pennsylvania, had an outstanding warrant from Lehigh County.

Diaz was taken into custody and transported to Northampton County Prison.
