SAUGERTIES, NY — A 79-year-old man was arrested following a one-car property damage collision on Feb. 20, 2026.
Alan M. Kessler, of Saugerties, was taken into custody at approximately 1:30 p.m. by the Saugerties Police Department at 138 Ulster Avenue.
Following an investigation, Kessler was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree.
Kessler was processed at the Saugerties Police Department and transported to CAP court for arraignment.
