PHOENIX, NY — A Phoenix woman faces felony drug charges following a traffic stop on State Street on Feb. 14, 2026.
Officer Foreman of the Village of Phoenix Police Department stopped a vehicle and arrested Tia M. McConnell, 56, of Phoenix.
McConnell is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 3rd degree with intent to sell, a class B felony.
She also faces charges of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 7th degree, a class A misdemeanor; criminal use of drug paraphernalia in the 2nd degree, a class A misdemeanor; and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the 3rd degree, an unclassified misdemeanor.
Additional charges include alcohol/cannabis in a motor vehicle, obstructed license plate, expired inspection and inadequate muffler, all violations.

McConnell was transported to the Oswego County Public Safety Center for arraignment in Oswego County C.A.P. Court.
