JAMESTOWN, NY — A man faces multiple charges after allegedly fleeing from police and driving while intoxicated early Saturday morning.
Officers from the Jamestown Police Department’s Third Platoon attempted to stop a vehicle for traffic violations in the area of Pardee Avenue and Crestline Drive at 1:23 a.m. on Feb. 14, 2026.
The vehicle failed to stop and fled at a high rate of speed, police said.
After a brief pursuit, the driver, Anthony L. Anzalone, was taken into custody.
Police determined Anzalone was operating the vehicle while intoxicated.
Anzalone was charged with driving while intoxicated, unlawful fleeing in the third degree and multiple traffic violations.
He was held pending arraignment.
