Man arrested on burglary charge in Bay Head

BAY HEAD, NJ — A man was arrested after allegedly breaking into a residence on Twilight Road early Thursday morning.

Officers from the Bay Head Police Department responded to the address at approximately 3:45 a.m. on Feb. 12, 2026, for a 9-1-1 open phone call.

Responding units located a male subject in the backyard of the residence yelling for help.

The man was found to be injured and in need of immediate medical assistance.

Through investigation, officers determined the man had kicked in a rear window of the residence in an attempt to gain entry.

The individual sustained injuries as a result of breaking the window.

He was placed under arrest and transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Following medical clearance, he was charged with burglary and criminal mischief.

He was subsequently transported to the Ocean County Jail.
