Three juveniles arrested after stolen vehicle pursuit in Greece

GREECE, NY — Three juveniles were arrested after a stolen vehicle pursuit ended with a crash in a residential neighborhood on Feb. 4, 2026.

Greece Police Department officers received a License Plate Reader alert for a stolen vehicle traveling eastbound on Ridgeway Avenue at 5:05 p.m.

Officers located the vehicle near Mt. Read Boulevard and West Ridge Road.

The vehicle entered the Koda-Vista neighborhood, and a brief pursuit was initiated.

The stolen vehicle struck a parked car near Hoover Drive and Vista Drive.

All three occupants exited and fled on foot.

Officers quickly apprehended two male juveniles, ages 14 and 15, following short foot pursuits.

The third juvenile male, also 15, fled the area.

A perimeter was established, and additional resources, including a New York State Police K9 and a Greece Police drone, were utilized.

The suspect was later located hiding in a residential yard after a civilian alerted officers.

The suspect was taken into custody without further incident.

The juveniles, all city residents, are facing charges including criminal possession of stolen property in the third degree, unauthorized use of a vehicle in the third degree and obstruction of governmental administration.

The 15-year-old driver was also charged with unlawful fleeing.

Two juveniles were processed and released to guardians.

One was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital for evaluation due to possible cold-weather exposure and later released to a family member.

All were issued expedited appearance tickets.

The stolen vehicle and a parked vehicle sustained damage.

No officers or civilians were injured.
