NAZARETH, PA — Police arrested a man on an outstanding warrant while conducting snow emergency route clearing operations Saturday night.
Officers encountered a vehicle parked on a snow emergency route at 11 p.m. as they prepared for an impending snowstorm.
The vehicle’s owner emerged as officers investigated.
A subsequent check revealed an active warrant issued by the Northampton County Sheriff’s Department.
Peter P. Coyle, 37, of Pennsylvania, was taken into custody without incident after the warrant was confirmed.
Coyle was transported to the Northampton County Prison to await further proceedings.
