NORTH HAVEN, CT — Police are investigating an armed robbery and vehicle theft that occurred Saturday evening.
The North Haven Police Department received a 911 call at approximately 5 p.m. from a man reporting his 2020 BMW M3 had been stolen at gunpoint.
The victim said he had parked his vehicle at an apartment complex on Hartford Turnpike while attempting to visit a friend.
As he walked toward the building, he was approached from behind by two suspects who pressed a hard object into his lower back and ordered him to empty his pockets.
The victim complied, and the suspects then fled the area in his vehicle.
A second vehicle, believed to have transported the suspects to the scene, also left the area.
No injuries were reported.
Police described the suspects as two Black males.
