ALLEGHENY COUNTY, PA — Police are investigating a fatal shooting that left a 34-year-old man dead outside an after-hours club.
County 9-1-1 was notified of a shooting at the intersection of South 5th Street and Viola Avenue at 5:09 a.m. on December 21, 2024.
First responders found an adult male, later identified as James Robinson, 34, deceased at the scene.
Robinson was shot one time in the chest.
Detectives determined the shooting occurred outside near Reese’s Supper Club on South 5th Street.
Investigators learned Robinson was a guest inside the after-hours club prior to the shooting.
Detectives have not been able to identify a suspect and are asking for the community’s help in identifying the person responsible for the shooting.
