Man arrested on drug charges in Pennsylvania Hills

PENNSYLVANIA HILLS, PA — A probation check led to drug-related charges for a local man on Jan. 20, 2026.

Wayne Jay Hills, 68, of Pennsylvania Hills, was arrested after probation officers discovered suspected narcotics during a routine visit to a residence in the 2000 block of Carriage Way.

During the probation check, an officer informed Hills that his bedroom would be searched.

Upon entering the bedroom, the officer observed a clear plastic bag containing a crystal-like substance consistent with methamphetamine on the nightstand, according to authorities.

A glass smoking pipe containing burnt brown and white residue was also located on the nightstand.

Hills admitted the items belonged to him when questioned, authorities said.

He was taken into custody and transported to the Bucks County Correctional Facility for violating the conditions of his probation.

Hills faces charges of prohibited acts and possession of drug paraphernalia.

A criminal complaint was filed at the district court.
