JAMESTOWN, NY — A man was arrested on drunken driving charges after his vehicle became stuck in snow at an intersection Saturday evening.
Officers responded to a report of a vehicle stuck in snow at the intersection of Falconer Street and Cowing Street at around 5:45 p.m. on Jan. 25, 2026.
Brandon J. Whitmore, 41, of Jamestown, was determined to be operating the vehicle while intoxicated, according to the Jamestown Police Department.
Whitmore was taken into custody and transported to the Jamestown City Jail, where his blood alcohol content was determined to be more than twice the legal limit.
He was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated per se and other traffic violations.
Whitmore was released with an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Jamestown City Court at a later date.
