JAMESTOWN, NY — A woman was arrested Wednesday after police found three children living in deplorable conditions at a residence on the north side of the city.
Officers from the Jamestown Police Department’s Second Platoon responded to the home at approximately 5:11 p.m. following reports of children potentially living in unsafe conditions.
During the investigation, police found that Serina L. Penhollow, 35, of Jamestown, had three children under the age of 17 living in a home with feces, trash and other rubbish strewn about.
Penhollow was arrested without incident and transported to the Jamestown City Jail.
She is facing three counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
Penhollow is being held at the Jamestown City Jail pending arraignment.
