GREECE, NY — A 28-year-old man has died from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle collision at West Ridge Road and Elmgrove Road.
Tyler Underwood, of Hamlin, was pronounced deceased at the scene after his vehicle struck the rear of another vehicle stopped at a red traffic signal on Jan. 17.
The collision occurred at approximately 1:00 p.m. as Underwood was traveling westbound on West Ridge Road.
The driver and a passenger in the vehicle that was struck sustained serious injuries and were transported to the University of Rochester Medical Center for treatment.
West Ridge Road westbound was closed in the area while detectives processed the scene.
The Greece Police Department confirmed Underwood’s death on Jan. 22.
The investigation remains ongoing.
