PENN YAN, NY — A Penn Yan woman was arrested Thursday after allegedly threatening another resident with a hatchet during an argument.
Kellie Wagner, 31, of Penn Yan, was charged with menacing in the second degree and criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree.
Police responded to a disturbance complaint and determined Wagner had kicked in a bedroom door before threatening the victim with a hatchet during the argument.
Wagner was transported to the Penn Yan Police Department for processing.
She was later transported to the Yates County Jail to await CAP arraignment for the purpose of obtaining an order of protection.
