BROADALBIN, NY — The Broadalbin-Kennyetto Fire Company responded to a structure fire on Stevers Mills Road on Sunday morning.
Units were dispatched at 7:32 a.m.
The Perth Volunteer Fire Company was called for mutual aid, and Lake Valley was summoned to the scene.
Smoke was reported in the area prior to firefighters’ arrival.
A Broadalbin-Kennyetto Fire Company incident commander confirmed a smoke condition upon arrival and that residents had evacuated the structure.
Firefighters used a thermal imaging camera during the response.
The Fulton County Emergency Management Office also responded to the scene.
National Grid was called to the location.
Code enforcement was contacted regarding the incident.
Perth units remained on standby at the Broadalbin station after the scene was cleared.
