Man arrested on sex charges in Saratoga County

SARATOGA COUNTY, NY — A Troy man faces multiple felony charges following a sexual assault investigation.

Jackson Coffee, 21, of Troy, was arrested and charged with disseminating indecent material to minors in the first degree, a class D felony, three counts of rape in the third degree, class E felonies, and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, class A misdemeanors.

The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office received a sexual assault complaint at 12:50 a.m. Monday.

Coffee is accused of sending a communication to a minor that depicted actual nudity and was harmful to minors.

He is also accused of engaging in oral sexual contact with a person less than 17 years old while he was 21 years old or older.

Coffee is additionally accused of engaging in anal sexual contact with the same person under the same circumstances.

One incident allegedly occurred in Saratoga Springs on Nov. 24.

The other incidents allegedly occurred in Milton on Nov. 27 and Dec. 2.

Coffee was arraigned before Judge Steven L. Brown in Milton Town Court.

He was remanded to the Saratoga County Jail pending further proceedings.
