Woman arrested on warrant in Stewartstown

STEWARTSTOWN, NH — A Colebrook police officer arrested a woman on an outstanding felony warrant early Wednesday morning while responding to a disturbance call.

Crystal Harding, 43, of Stewartstown, was taken into custody at 4:19 a.m. at 859 Washington Street.

Police responded to the location after multiple neighbors reported being awakened by screaming and the sound of items being smashed inside an apartment.

The officer determined Harding was the cause of the disturbance.

A warrant check revealed Harding had an active felony arrest warrant for controlled drug sales involving fentanyl and cocaine due to her failure to appear in court.

Harding was arrested on the warrant.

Further investigation ruled out any acts of domestic violence during the disturbance.

Harding was transported to the Colebrook Police Department, where she was booked.

She was later released to New Hampshire State Police for transport to the Grafton County Jail.

Because it was a do-not-bail warrant, Harding was not afforded a bail commissioner and was taken directly to jail to await arraignment.
