Woman wanted for identity theft in Greece

GREECE, NY — Police are searching for a woman who allegedly stole identification and bank cards from a vehicle and used them to cash fraudulent checks.

The Greece Police Department said a vehicle was unlawfully entered on Nov. 4 and the victim’s New York state driver’s license and debit cards were stolen.

The suspect used the stolen driver’s license and debit card to cash fraudulent checks at various bank locations in Rochester, police said.

Police released surveillance images of the suspect and are asking anyone who recognizes him to contact authorities.
