SARATOGA COUNTY, NY — A Whitehall man was arrested Sunday on charges of criminal contempt and aggravated harassment.
Cody M. Martindale, 23, of Whitehall, was taken into custody by the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office on an arrest warrant issued by Halfmoon Town Court.
Martindale is charged with criminal contempt in the first degree, a class E felony, and aggravated harassment in the second degree, a class A misdemeanor.
He is accused of threatening a victim via social media messenger in violation of an order of protection on May 12 in the town of Halfmoon.
Martindale was arraigned before the Honorable Ellwood A. Sloat Jr. in Malta Town Court.
He was released to pretrial services pending further proceedings in Halfmoon Town Court.
