SHANDAKEN, NY — Two people were found dead from gunshot wounds at a residence on Highview Road on Nov. 11.
State Police from the Kingston barracks responded to a report of two unconscious and unresponsive individuals at approximately 7:29 p.m.
Troopers and the Town of Shandaken Police Department entered the residence and located a 68-year-old woman deceased in a bedroom from a gunshot wound.
The woman was identified as Deborah A. Warren of Phoenicia.
In the same room, police located Mark P. Braman, 69, of Phoenicia, deceased from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
The investigation is ongoing.
Police said there is no threat to the public.
