CROMWELL, CT — Officers responded to the area of Mom and Pop’s Discount Liquors on Nov. 6 regarding a report of an individual who was threatened with a knife and had his scooter stolen.
Members of the Cromwell Police Detective Bureau assisted with the investigation and two suspects were identified.
Glorixa Nieves, 34, of Connecticut, was charged Nov. 6 with conspiracy to commit robbery in the first degree and conspiracy to commit larceny of a motor vehicle in the first offense.
Nieves was released on $50,000 bond.
Rey Y. Rivera-Rodriguez, 35, of Connecticut, was arrested by warrant Nov. 11 and charged with robbery in the first degree, larceny of a motor vehicle in the first offense, conspiracy to commit robbery in the first degree and conspiracy to commit larceny of a motor vehicle in the first offense.
Rivera-Rodriguez was released on $100,000 bond.
