CROMWELL, CT — Officers responded to the area of Mom and Pop’s Discount Liquors on Nov. 6 regarding a report of an individual who was threatened with a knife and had his scooter stolen.
Members of the Cromwell Police Detective Bureau assisted with the investigation and two suspects were identified.
Glorixa Nieves, 34, of an unspecified address, was charged Nov. 6 with conspiracy to commit robbery in the first degree and conspiracy to commit larceny of a motor vehicle in the first offense.
Nieves was released on $50,000 bond.
Rey Y. Rivera-Rodriguez, 35, of an unspecified address, was arrested by warrant on Nov. 11 and charged with robbery in the first degree, larceny of a motor vehicle in the first offense, conspiracy to commit robbery in the first degree and conspiracy to commit larceny of a motor vehicle in the first offense.
Rivera-Rodriguez was released on $100,000 bond.
