WILLIAMSON, NY — State police are investigating after a woman was found dead with signs of trauma at a residence in the town of Williamson.
Troopers responded to Arrowbend Drive at approximately 4:32 p.m. Wednesday for a welfare check.
An adult female was discovered inside the home and was deceased with signs of trauma, according to New York State Police at SP Williamson.
The residence was secured, and a criminal investigation was initiated.
Members of the Bureau of Criminal Investigation, Troop E Major Crimes Unit, and Forensic Investigation Unit responded to the scene.
The investigation remains active.
