SAUGERTIES, NY — A Watervliet man was arrested following a report of vandalism to a parking meter on Partition Street.
Jeffrey A. Litts, 33, of Watervliet, was arrested at about 12:45 a.m. on Oct. 31 by the Saugerties Police Department.
Police located a vehicle matching the description provided in the initial complaint.
Litts was charged with grand larceny in the fourth degree, criminal mischief in the second degree, and criminal possession of stolen property in the fourth degree, all felonies.
He was also charged with criminal mischief in the fourth degree, a misdemeanor.
Litts was processed at the Saugerties Police Department and released on an appearance ticket to appear in the Village of Saugerties Justice Court at a later date.
The investigation is ongoing and additional charges are expected for Litts and co-defendant Rachel Newman of Coxsackie.
