GREECE, NY — Monroe County Probation officers discovered a loaded handgun during a routine compliance check Oct. 17.
Officers conducted the probation visit at a residence on Milford Street at approximately 11:30 a.m.
During the inspection, officers located a loaded Ruger 9mm handgun.
Probation officers detained the individual and contacted the Greece Police Department.
Greece police officers responded to process the scene and conduct further investigation.
Emaj’a Brock, 24, of Greece, was charged with criminal possession of a firearm and criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree.
Brock is currently on probation for attempted criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree.
He was processed at Greece Police Headquarters and transported to the county jail pending arraignment in CAP Court.
