SOUTH GLENS FALLS — The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office arrested a 30-year-old Fort Edward man on multiple driving while intoxicated charges after he allegedly crashed into a shopping cart corral at a local grocery store Thursday.
Deputies responded to a call at 2:05 p.m. Oct. 5 regarding a male who had passed out in his vehicle at the Hannaford supermarket.
Dalton G. Girard was charged with aggravated DWI, DWI, and operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content of 0.08% or greater, all unclassified misdemeanors.
Authorities say Girard was operating his vehicle while intoxicated with a blood alcohol content of 0.23%.
Girard was released on appearance tickets and is scheduled to appear in Moreau Town Court.
