HIMROD — A 60-year-old man was arrested Friday evening after allegedly threatening another person with a knife during a disturbance.
Robert J. Murk was charged with first-degree menacing, a felony, and second-degree harassment, a violation, according to the Yates County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded to an address on Wood Road in Himrod at 4:24 p.m. Oct. 4 for a report of a disturbance.
Investigation revealed that Murk engaged in an argument with another individual and threatened them with a knife, authorities said.
Murk was arrested and transported to the Yates County Jail to await arraignment in CAP Court.
