OXFORD — Connecticut State Police are seeking witnesses to a traffic accident that occurred Tuesday around 4:30 p.m. on Route 67 at Route 42.
Oxford police were investigating a separate traffic accident when heavy traffic conditions led to the incident.
A vehicle, possibly a box truck or delivery van, struck a sign while attempting to turn around due to the traffic backup.
The collision caused damage to the sign.
Police are asking anyone who witnessed the incident to contact the Oxford Resident Trooper’s Office at 203-888-4353.
