BINGHAMTON — A 17-year-old male has been arrested in connection with an attempted abduction that occurred Friday on Chestnut Street near Lincoln Avenue.
Binghamton Police Department detectives apprehended the suspect Saturday afternoon after developing leads in the case.
The teen has been charged with attempted kidnapping in the second degree, a Class C felony.
He was arraigned at Broome County Central Arraignment Process and released to the custody of Broome County Probation Pretrial Release Program on electronic monitoring.
The incident remains under investigation.
