BINGHAMTON — Police are investigating a forcible touching and attempted abduction that occurred Sept. 6 at approximately 1:23 a.m. on Chestnut Street near Lincoln Avenue.
A lone female was physically accosted by a lone male, according to the Binghamton Police Department Detective Division.
The suspect is described as an Asian male with black hair in his 20s and small in stature.
He was wearing a thin metallic necklace, black knit winter hat with a white logo, white short sleeve t-shirt, black pants, white socks and black slippers.
Police are requesting residents on Chestnut Street, Seminary Avenue, Leroy Street, Lincoln Avenue, Davis Street, Saint John Avenue and Oak Street between Main Street and Leroy Street with home video surveillance footage to contact the Detective Division.
