BINGHAMTON — The Broome County Sheriff’s Office said Sunday that a death investigation in the town of Binghamton is believed to be an isolated incident with no immediate threat to the public.
The investigation in the area of Brady Hill Road and Gregory Road remains ongoing, according to sheriff’s officials.
More details will be released after the investigation concludes, the sheriff’s office said.
The sheriff’s office initially reported Thursday it was investigating a possible homicide at a residence in the area of Brady Hill Road, also known as County Route 8, and Gregory Road.
Officials had advised community members to avoid the area during the investigation.
