COLEBROOK — A 31-year-old Colebrook man was arrested on multiple drug charges following a traffic stop on Corliss Lane on Aug. 11.

Lucas Randlett was charged with three counts of possession of controlled drug, transportation of drugs in a motor vehicle, misuse of plates, unregistered vehicle and uninspected vehicle.

Police initiated the traffic stop at 9:12 p.m. after a registration plate came back to a tan car while being displayed on a black SUV.

During an inventory search before the vehicle was towed, officers discovered a glass pipe with burnt white residue in a lunchbox.

The pipe was consistent with being used to ingest methamphetamine, according to police.

Randlett was arrested and transported to the police station before being released on bail.

The vehicle was sealed and seized while police applied for a search warrant.

A subsequent search of the vehicle revealed what is believed to be methamphetamine, heroin/fentanyl and clonazepam.

An original misdemeanor paraphernalia charge was upgraded to three felony possession charges.
