ROUND LAKE — The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office arrested a 47-year-old Clifton Park man Sunday evening following a welfare check at the Round Lake boat launch.
Richard L. Wolfe was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs, a class E felony, and unlawful possession of noxious material, a class B misdemeanor.
Deputies responded to the boat launch at 8 p.m. Sunday for the welfare check.
Wolfe is accused of operating a motor vehicle while his ability to do so was impaired by the use of a drug.
The DWAI charge was elevated to a felony due to a previous DWI conviction within the preceding 10 years.
He is also charged with possessing nitrous oxide with the intent to disturb the public peace.
Wolfe was released on appearance tickets pending further proceedings in Malta Town Court.
