SHANDAKEN — A 41-year-old Marbletown man was arrested on driving while intoxicated charges after his vehicle overturned in a ditch on Fox Hollow Road on July 24.
Members of the Town of Shandaken Police Department found the overturned vehicle and determined following an investigation that the operator was not injured but was intoxicated by alcohol.
The driver was charged with the misdemeanors of driving while intoxicated with a blood alcohol content of .10% and driving while intoxicated.
He was additionally cited for speed not reasonable and prudent and failure to keep right.
The operator was released on an appearance ticket returnable to the Shandaken Justice Court at a later date.
