EARLTON — Two men have been charged with child exploitation crimes following an investigation into alleged misconduct at Tranquility Camp, the Greene County Sheriff’s Office announced.
The investigation began July 26 after reports of alleged misconduct at the camp.
Jonathan E. Sarasohn, 22, of Great Neck, N.Y., was charged with promoting an obscene sexual performance by a child less than 17, a class D felony, and possession of an obscene sexual performance by a child, a class E felony.
Charles D. Gorfain, 20, of Wesley Chapel, Fla., was charged with possession of an obscene sexual performance by a child, a class E felony.
Sarasohn was arraigned and remanded to the Greene County Jail with bail.
Gorfain was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Coxsackie.
