TRIANGLE — A Triangle man and a Binghamton woman are facing 10 felony drug charges following a warrant execution by the Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force.
On Tuesday, July 22, SIU, with assistance from the Broome County Sheriff’s Strategic Response Group, executed a search warrant at a residence located at 2739 Hickory St. in the Town of Triangle.
As a result of the search warrant, authorities recovered approximately 15 oz of methamphetamine, 13.1 grams of fentanyl, 12 alprazolam pills, $40,817 in U.S. currency, and scales and packaging materials.
The total street value of narcotics is estimated to be around $7,000.
Two individuals, Kalysa M. Drury, age 22 of Binghamton, and Randy J. Glezen, age 62 of the Town of Triangle, were present during the search.
Drury was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 2nd degree, a Class A-II felony; two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 3rd degree, Class B felonies; criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 4th degree, a Class C felony; criminal possession of a controlled substance 5th degree, a Class D felony; and three counts of criminally using drug paraphernalia in the 2nd degree, Class A misdemeanors.
Glezen faces identical charges.
Both Drury and Glezen were arraigned at Central Arraignment Part and remain in custody at the Broome County Correctional Facility.
The Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force was assisted by the United States Drug Enforcement Administration and members of the Broome County Sheriff’s Strategic Response Group.
The task force is comprised of members of the Broome County Sheriff’s Office, the Binghamton Police Department, the Johnson City Police Department and the Endicott Police Department.
