RICHFORD — Vermont State Police received a report July 14 of a violation of an abuse prevention order that occurred at a residence in town.
Investigation showed that Gregory Benoit, 55, of Richford, had violated an abuse prevention order by entering a residence he was court ordered to stay away from.
Benoit was located and issued a citation to appear in Franklin County Court, Criminal Division on July 22 at 10 a.m. to answer to the charge of violation of abuse prevention order.
