DAY — The Sheriff’s Office responded to an assist EMS call Tuesday at 1:37 p.m. on the Sacandaga Lake approximately 100 yards off shore from Ash Frasier Road.
Investigation into the call revealed that a 77-year-old male had been seated on the swim platform of his boat and was noticed several minutes later floating face down in the water with his life jacket still on.
He was transported to Saratoga Hospital by EMS where he was pronounced dead.
The matter is still actively under investigation.
