Sheriff’s office continues probe into 2005 Greenfield homicide

SARATOGA COUNTY — The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate a cold case homicide from the town of Greenfield.

Christina N. White, 18, of Milton was reported missing to the Sheriff’s Office 20 years ago today.

White had last been seen during the evening hours of June 30, 2005, after leaving her residence on Rock City Road on foot at approximately 10 p.m.

She was reported missing by her family on July 3, 2005, after failing to contact them in that time period.

During the spring of 2006, a hiker in the area of Daketown Road in the town of Greenfield located human remains that were later identified as White after DNA and medical analysis.

Her death was ruled a homicide.

The Sheriff’s Office continues to actively investigate this case.
