3 arrested in Greece after stolen vehicle spotted by license plate reader

GREECE — Three Rochester residents were arrested June 30 after officers located a stolen vehicle using a license plate reader alert.

Officers from the Greece Police Department responded to the alert at approximately 7:19 p.m. for a stolen vehicle traveling westbound on W Ridge Road.

The car had been reported stolen out of the Town of Gates.

Officers located the vehicle traveling northbound on Long Pond Road and initiated a traffic stop.

The vehicle’s three occupants were arrested without incident.

Ricki C. Simmons, 29, of Rochester, was charged with unlawful use of a vehicle 3rd degree and criminal possession of stolen property 3rd degree.

Tonet C. Simmons, 26, of Rochester, was charged with unlawful use of a vehicle 3rd degree and criminal possession of stolen property 3rd degree.

Daimonique Singleton, 25, of Rochester, was charged with unlawful use of a vehicle 3rd degree and criminal possession of stolen property 3rd degree.

The suspects were processed and transported to the county jail for arraignment in CAP Court.
