Broome County Sheriff’s Office announces weekly arrests across region

BINGHAMTON — The Broome County Sheriff’s Office reported a series of arrests and charges during its weekly update released on June 25.

Kurt A. Albert, 41, of Deposit, was charged with tampering with physical evidence, a class E felony, and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, a class A misdemeanor, following a traffic stop in the city.

Christopher M. Berkman, 39, of Endicott, was charged with petit larceny, a class A misdemeanor, after a larceny investigation in the Town of Fenton.

Jerry J. Beverly, 47, also of Endicott, faces two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, both class A misdemeanors, after a narcotics investigation in the Village of Endicott.

Chelsey M. Davis, 37, of Port Dickinson, was charged with criminal contempt in the first degree, a class E felony, following an investigation into an order of protection violation in the Town of Chenango.

Johnathan P. Coish, 47, of Whitney Point, was charged with assault in the third degree and criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation, both class A misdemeanors, after a domestic dispute investigation in the Town of Triangle.

Kimberly M. Devine, 60, of Endicott, was charged with petit larceny, a class A misdemeanor, following an investigation in the Town of Union.

Shawn M. Frost, 27, of Kirkwood, was charged with violating a sex offender registry requirement, a class E felony, and resisting arrest, a class A misdemeanor, after an investigation into unregistered online accounts in Kirkwood.

Jason R. Lagano, 37, of Waterloo, faces charges including criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, unlawful fleeing a police officer in a motor vehicle in the third degree, resisting arrest, and obstruction of governmental administration in the second degree, all class A misdemeanors, following a pursuit in Kirkwood.

Matthew R. C. Lehr II, 36, of Hallstead, Pennsylvania, was charged with endangering the welfare of a child, a class A misdemeanor, after a harassment investigation in the Town of Union.

Lisa M. McKnight, 49, of Marathon, was charged with criminal contempt in the second degree, a class A misdemeanor, after a warrant execution in Cortland.

Mark V. Patak, 36, of Chenango, was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, a class A misdemeanor, following a traffic stop in the town.

Thomas R. Pendlebury, 40, of Kirkwood, was charged with petit larceny, a class A misdemeanor, stemming from an investigation in Binghamton.

Delarlo D. Richards, 50, of Binghamton, was charged with tampering with physical evidence, a class E felony, and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, a class A misdemeanor, after a traffic stop in the city.

Kevin M. Starring, 37, of Endicott, was charged with driving while intoxicated and operating a motor vehicle with a BAC greater than 0.08, both first offenses and both misdemeanors, following a traffic stop in the Town of Union.

Christine Turner, 40, of Johnson City, was charged with grand larceny in the third degree and criminal possession of stolen property in the third degree, both class D felonies, as well as criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree and obstruction of governmental administration in the second degree, both class A misdemeanors, after a traffic stop and stolen vehicle investigation in Binghamton.

Jesse J. Wolcott, 38, was charged with burglary in the second degree, a class C felony, and criminal mischief in the third degree, a class E felony, in connection with a burglary investigation in the Town of Chenango.

Wolcott also faces three counts of criminal trespass in the third degree, class B misdemeanors, and obstruction of governmental administration in the second degree, a class A misdemeanor, following separate investigations in Chenango.

Christiana E. Yacalis, 28, of Binghamton, was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, class A misdemeanors, after a traffic stop in the city.

Elijah Yard, 27, of Binghamton, was charged with unlawful fleeing a police officer in a motor vehicle in the third degree, reckless endangerment in the second degree, and obstruction of governmental administration in the second degree, all class A misdemeanors, and several traffic violations after a pursuit and stop in the Town of Dickinson.
