Wilton man arrested on felony contempt charge

WILTON — The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office responded to a disturbance call Saturday at 1:24 p.m. on Jones Road in the town of Wilton.

Investigation into the complaint led to the arrest of Galen L. Gaudette, 52, of Wilton, for criminal contempt in the first degree, a class E felony.

Gaudette is accused of violating an order of protection by shoving the protected party.

He was arraigned before the Honorable David R. Towne in the Wilton Town Court and remanded to the Saratoga County Jail pending further proceedings.
